We enjoyed staying at Grant Arms. Besides, Craggan Golf Course is 10 minutes' drive away. The highlight was a packed breakfast in the bar. A work desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a radio in the room were an advantage.
Perfect for 2 nights in Grantown-on-Spey Cold cuisine. Booked a double room with air conditioning, a work desk and a radio. Moreover, it had parking nearby. It was a 4-star hotel in every way...
Superb Hotel. Excellent food. Room clean and well furnished. Good relaxing reception area. Fine soft settees. Well stocked bar. Staff efficient and knowlegable. Plenty parking around the hotel plus public car and coach park 100 yards along the street. Excellent location for wild life and birdlife, which the hotel specialises in catering for.
The bar was closed in the afternoon.
Room was comfortable. Reception staff were cheerful and approachable.
Restaurant. fook was ok, however felt like I was on a conveyor belt or a McDonalds drive through. I wanted to relax and enjoy my meal, catch up on the news in a newspaper, but no sooner had I finished my main course that my dessert was presented even thouhg I had requested a short delay. In addition, during dessert, tables were being moved in preparation for the following day - I felt like I had outstayed my welcome. What was a reasonable meal turned into an uncomfortable dining experience
the hotel wasclean comfortable all members af staff were very freindly and helpful meals were excellant and the rooms spacious and comfortable, The hotel/s location is ideally situated for visiting the highlands
All the staff were very friendly and the room was in a clean condition. Overall a brilliant stay & would definetly go there again.
Relaxed atmosphere and friendliness off all the staff.
The wireless broadband reception was, at best, patchy.
Friendly efficient staff Good food comfortable rooms
The warm welcome my colleague and I received along with the excellent service throughout the stay.
The random wi-fi connection was the only point thing I can think off that spoiled the otherwise excellent service.
Did not get wake up call as requested on first day next day called at 8;58 pm no one answered to take request for wake up call for second day
Staff were very welcoming. The public areas and restaurant were airy and well maintained with an excellent standard of cleanliness Bedroom was spacious and very comfortable with pleasant decor. The fittings were of a high standard and the hotel overall was one to be highly recommended. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.
The service was excellent. Staff were superb. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. I booked a single room but was given a twin at the front of the hotel overlooking the square. Excellent facilities for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Price was a bargain and included a fabulous breakfast with locally sourced produce. A real gem of a hotel. I would definitely return here and would recommend this hotel highly.
There is nothing I did not like about this hotel.
Friendly welcome, comfortable, relaxing, food good. Loved the RSPB area with a huge amouunt of information on nature, walks and things to do in the area. It was great to pay only a single price for single occupancy, thank you for that.
The staff were very attentive and the standard high
It was just too quiet at night, no atmosphere, just a bit too reserved. it could have had a snug with a roaring fire and lively music as an option for guests
We enjoyed your head chef, Mr Chris Grant - he took time to sit with us and tell us about the history of the area and Grant clan.
